The Brass Oval Rose is an all-brass rose for outdoor watering cans fitted with a No.3 Brass ferrule. Body and face are both constructed from brass, making the rose corrosion resistant in wet conditions.
The oval face produces a broader spray pattern than a round rose. At the same spray weight, the oval face has more holes than a round, delivering a higher flow rate across a wider area. The rose can be fitted face up or face down; on an oval rose the change in spray direction and coverage is significant and gives a noticeably different result in use.
Spray weight governs the size and character of the droplets the rose produces. Lighter sprays are gentler and slower to deliver; heavier sprays deliver water more quickly with more force.
Five spray weights are available in oval: Extra Fine Spray, Fine Spray, Fine Spray High Flow, and Coarse Spray. Fine Spray High Flow achieves higher delivery than Fine Spray through a greater number of holes at the same hole diameter – it is not a coarser or heavier spray.
Brass surfaces may develop patina over time through handling and exposure – a surface change that does not affect function. Attaches via a taper interference fit to the No.3 Brass ferrule. Compatible with the Warley Fall, Warley Fall HDG, and Cradley Cascader Deluxe. The all-brass sealed construction reduces the risk of leakage at the rose compared with brass-faced roses used with a plastic ferrule. Gift-boxed in recycled cardboard.
